Interface Settings

Items scroll amount

This value is necessary only if the user can put objects in the interface.

Standard Command

Configure the standard command here. This will usually be the 'goto' command. This is important because if the standard command is active, the comment of the comment set won't be displayed, if there is no action set for this command being executed on an object. The standard command will be activated automatically after the execution of a command (see Activate standard command after an Action under Game Properties).

Font

Sets the font for the command text. This is necessary only if the command text is displayed on the interface.

Offset

This is necessary only if eighter Ausrichtung relativ or absolut is selected. If you set relativ the offset value means the distance between the upper left corner of the interface and the current mouse position where it is displayed. If absolut is selected the offset value means the coordinates on which the interface will be displayed.

Displacement

You can adjust the interface here, e.g. its position on the screen. Top means the top of the screen, bottom means the screen's bottom; the interface and the horizontal resolution should have the same width. Left adjusts the interface to the left edge and Right to the right edge. The interface and the vertical resolution should have the same height. Absolute and relativ only make sense if you can open/close the interface by pressing a mouse button, because they do not reduce the area in which the scene can be displayed.

Height/Width of bag (in pixels)

This value has to greater than 0 to be valid and if the interface is adjusted to the edge, otherwise it will be ignored. The interface usually has same width and height than its background image.

A short example:

Create an interface adjusted to the bottom with a height of 100 pixel. On the top of it there are flowers and some grass which hide some parts of the background. The height of the background image for the interface is 150 pixels and the height of the bag would be set to 100 pixels.

Start the following action when the cursor is leaving the bag

A reasonable appliance would be to create an interface which can be shown with a key and disappears with this action when the cursor is leaving the interface.

Place the action-text independent of the bag on the scene

If selected the action-text will be displayed on the scene at the coordinates which have been set with the tool Set text-rectangle. The position of the bag has no influence on this.
